Mustard Seed Store Matthew 17:19-20 Then the disciples came to Jesus in private and asked, “Why couldn't we drive the demon out?” 20 He replied, “Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” YOU who live in Waupun, Wisconsin are very aware of the Bargains Galore Thrift Store. Several years ago, a few faithful people stepped out with mustard seed faith to “move a mountain”. Quoting from the store’s website: “Bargains Galore Thrift Store officially opened its doors on August 2, 2001. The Central Wisconsin Christian School society was hoping the store would profit $40,000 the first year. But God poured out His blessings upon the store as the store had sales of $150,000. “Each year since has seen significant increases. As of 2012, Bargains Galore has amazingly contributed over $2,600,000 to Central Wisconsin Christian School and Randolph & Faith Christian Schools.” As Jesus proclaimed the power of mustard seed faith to “move mountains”, I hope this story helps you to pray to move “mountains” in your life. Here you see people moving into action. As they prayed for God’s will to be done, funds and facilities came to the group. Bargains Galore grew into a business that has brought income beyond the founders’ goals. The money has helped hundreds of children rest upon the branches of a Christian education. What “mountains’ need to move into or out of your life? Is fear of failure or doubt holding you back? Faithfully pray for Jesus to move the mountain. Then see what he will do. It’s True! In Jesus’ will, mountains will move.
