Read Proverbs 3 Word of Life Proverbs 3:1 My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, 2 for they will prolong your life many years and bring you prosperity. 3 Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. 4 Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. 5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. WORDS to live by, aren’t they? I hope you do. I hope and pray that you write God’s words on your heart. When you do, you will know how much he loves you, and you will know how to love him in return. Love God, and you will desire Him. You will hunger for more of his words to write on your heart. You will long to talk to God about your joys and your sorrows because you know His loving words are for your life. Write God’s words on your heart, and you will know what you must know to reject evil. You will grow in faith because you will see his words enrich your life and give you peace. Trusting God with all your heart means the things that oppose you will seem meaningless and small because God is so much bigger. You will look past your challenges and see victory on the horizon as your Lord beckons you to come to Him. Acknowledge his Lordship in your life, and you will find your paths straight and true. Yes, these are words to live by. Be sure you read all of Proverbs 3 and feel God’s words alive in your heart. It’s True! God’s words are life.
