Read Daniel 7 - 9

Dan 7:13-14 “In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence. 14 He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all peoples, nations and men of every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed.”

WARNING SIGNS are good, aren’t they? You slow for the curve. You throw out expired food. You wait for the train.

Promise signs are good too! You are excited for the new baby, the birthday and wedding celebrations. In these chapters are God’s warning signs and God’s promise signs to the world.

These signs come to Daniel to warn of impending destruction and to promise salvation. Understand that Jesus Christ is the Son of Man, who will come on the clouds in final judgment and salvation.

This is Jesus, who promised his disciples one day he would return as the Son of Man. And they knew exactly what he meant. They knew he would come in glory, in the brilliant, powerful and fearful light Jehovah God showed on Mt. Sinai (See Exodus 24). They knew he would come to all nations and people of every language. And they knew that when the world sees Jesus come, every knee will bow and every tongue will tell that Jesus Christ is Lord.

And the disciples knew when Jesus called himself Son of Man that he would resign over the new heaven and earth forever. (Matt 24:44 So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.) That will be the final judgment.

God so loves the world he has put up warning signs and promise signs through the journey of history. Take note. Tell your loved ones to listen to the warnings and the promises. Your and their eternal life is in the balance.
